By applying his years of experience and varied expertise, Mike oversees a diverse client portfolio of properties in Boston and its suburbs to ensure that the company’s systems and services consistently exceed clients’ expectations. He also contributes a range of innovative, practical solutions that help these clients meet their demanding operational, energy and maintenance requirements. In addition, he is responsible for safety audits and training, as well as building audits and business development.


Mike has over 25 years of experience in the mechanical services industry, 19 of those in such management positions as senior project manager, branch manager and operations manager. As BTE’s senior facilities manager at Boston’s Prudential Center, Mike and his team of over 30 tradespeople, a manager and various administrative personnel maintained and operated a 3.2-million-square-foot complex. The complex included 2.6-million-square-feet of office space, 620,000-square-feet of retail space and a 3,660-car parking garage. During his tenure in this position, Mike increased client satisfaction and improved client relations by working with the client to develop quantifiable performance metrics and standardize monthly reporting. At the same time, he enhanced financial performance by increasing profit percentages on billable tenant work to 15 percent, raising base staffing levels and revenues by adding a new painter and procurement coordinator, and generating revenues and gross profitability that consistently exceeded expectations.

Before joining BTE, he was national operations manager for Trammell Crow, where he helped create the firm’s national service center. This center coordinated all activities and administrative functions necessary to ensure a smooth work flow for 400 stationary and mobile engineers serving multiple clients around the country. In addition, he instituted a new work order delivery platform using handheld computer technology, transitioned the work order platform from Maximo to CrossForm, implemented a safety program that included updated policies and procedures, and created a service technician’s standard operations manual that could be tailored for individual customers.

Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Salem State College, and a building design and management certificate from Northeastern University.

Mike spends his time outside of work traveling and exercising and enjoys reading, scuba diving and golf.
