Tom ensures that his client receives the innovative, responsive customer service and consistently high-quality project delivery it expects. In addition to acting as the primary customer liaison, he directs field management, maintains quality control, oversees job site safety compliance and administers all contracts. For his clients, Tom's efforts add up to the expert professional care that is needed to meet today's most challenging facilities issues.

 

Expertise

A 25-year BTE veteran, Tom brings extensive practical building operations and maintenance expertise to every assignment. Over the years, he has held a wide range of increasingly more responsible field supervision and management positions, including operations manager of BTE's Mobile Services Group and Operations Manager for the Northeast region. During his career, he has worked with such well-known and highly respected clients as Jones Lang LaSalle, Cushman & Wakefield, CBRE, Colliers Meredith & Grew, Boston Properties, DIVCO West, Yale Properties, Boston Scientific, Novartis, Amgen, GSA, IBM, Intel, and MIT.

 

Tom studied refrigeration and air conditioning at Peterson School of Steam Engineering. An Association of Facilities Engineering (AFE)-certified plant engineer, he has participated in the Building Owners and Managers Institute's facilities management administrator course, as well as in-house courses on a range of topics, including automated controls, automatic transfer switches, boilers, chiller maintenance, heat pumps, HVAC basics, in-door air quality and water treatment. A Committee Chair and Board of Director member for Building Owners and Managers Association Boston (BOMA), a member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the Association of Facilities Engineering (AFE), he is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business management at American Intercontinental University.

 

The Personal Side

Tom enjoys spending time with family and friends. An avid golfer, he also gets pleasure from developing and implementing business plans.
